Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical condition to develop comprehensive evaluations of their rehabilitation needs.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques tailored to individual patient goals.
• Administering interventions aimed at reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring function, utilizing modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic massages.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons, medical professionals, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient recovery.
• Educating patients and their families on recovery strategies, including home exercise programs to maintain physical health post-treatment.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as maintaining the highest professional standards in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic focus of this role means you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This position requires a keen understanding of anatomy and movement, allowing you to best support patients in their journey towards improved physical capability and independence. You will play a key role in their healing process, making a lasting difference in their lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessment and treatment of orthopedic conditions.

Preferred Experience

While we require at least 2 years of relevant experience, those with a background in outpatient therapy environments or who have worked specifically with orthopedic populations will find themselves well equipped for this position. Proven experience in collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is also highly valued, as it aligns with our commitment to providing comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with experience. Beyond financial compensation, our benefits package includes:
