Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Orthopedic Outpatient practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a full-time member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, restoring movement, and enhancing their overall quality of life. We primarily serve clients with orthopedic concerns and collaborate with multiple private medical insurance carriers to ensure accessibility to our services.

Work Environment

The rehabilitation center operates onsite in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. You will be working closely with a small team, including two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care. The practice hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable and structured schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address patients' goals and needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring effective and efficient treatment.
• Implement evidence-based treatment methods to improve patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Reduce reliance on medications by providing cost-effective rehabilitation solutions, including alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Develop tailored care plans utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques.
• Create fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' personal rehabilitation goals.
• Document patient progress accurately, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT.
• Encourage and motivate patients during therapy sessions, supporting their journey towards optimal health.
• Consult with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and communicate patient progress, adjusting care plans as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal pain. The ideal candidate will be skilled in addressing a wide range of orthopedic conditions and patient demographics, ensuring personalized care tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist License, with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a background in exercise therapy.
• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating an understanding of various treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of hands-on practice as a Physical Therapist in a similar clinical environment.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and care management.
