Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is located in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Bonita Springs, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and functional limitations related to their health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize methods such as targeted exercises, therapeutic modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on their responses and evolving goals.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic procedures and exercises, ensuring proper understanding and engagement in their recovery.
• Assess the need for assistive devices and provide appropriate recommendations and training for their use to enhance patients' independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to share insights and strategies for holistic patient care, enhancing overall treatment effectiveness.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and networking within the physical therapy community to stay updated on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center serves a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will work with patients who require rehabilitation for various diagnoses, such as orthopedic concerns, neurological conditions, and post-surgical recovery, allowing you to make significant impacts across a broad spectrum of health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software utilized in documentation and patient management.
• An agile and adaptable mindset to respond to the needs of a diverse patient/client base.
• A commitment to continued education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required, as new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
