Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do

• Provide in-hospital adult patient care, including managing acute and chronic conditions
• Respond to codes and rapid responses as needed
• Collaborate with nursing, ED, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Monitor ventilated and step-down patients, with ventilator management preferred
• Document thoroughly using Cerner EMR system
• Participate in weekend coverage and rounding, with flexible scheduling options
• Support quality and safety initiatives within the hospital

What You Need

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Vermont medical license (or eligibility)
• At least 1 year of hospitalist experience preferred
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to respond confidently to emergencies and manage complex inpatient cases

About the Assignment

This opportunity is based at a friendly, community-focused hospital boasting Level 3 trauma capabilities, with a supportive nursing team and an established overnight hospitalist program.
