Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Del Puerto Behavioral Health, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting effective therapeutic sessions with couples and families, addressing various relationship dynamics and individual concerns.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that support the unique needs of clients.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as grief, trauma, and family conflict.
\n
• Documenting all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
\n
• Engaging in continuous professional development to remain updated on best practices and emerging trends in therapy.
\n
• Building supportive relationships with clients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LMFT will involve a diverse patient population, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will address a wide range of issues, including:

• Experiences of physical and psychological abuse

• Grief and loss challenges
\n
• Family conflicts and communication difficulties

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
