Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, enabling you to deliver services in a flexible manner that meets the needs of students and their families. Although you will conduct therapy sessions online, you will be deeply integrated into the school environment through partnerships with educators and families. You will operate on a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that your availability aligns with the academic calendar and the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Provide individualized one-on-one and group therapy to students experiencing emotional distress, guiding them in developing coping strategies and emotional regulation skills.

• Assess and address behavioral health needs while effectively managing crisis situations, utilizing evidence-based interventions to de-escalate challenges.

• Collaborate with school staff—including teachers, counselors, and administrators—to develop integrated care plans that support student well-being.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with California state regulations and ethical standards.

• Implement trauma-informed and culturally responsive support strategies that foster inclusivity and safety for all students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is on K–12 students who require mental health support due to a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will work with a diverse population, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each child and their family dynamics. Your role is essential in creating an environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic success amongst students from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent within the state of California.

• Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within educational settings.
