Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, client-centered assessments to evaluate both mental health and substance use concerns, identifying co-occurring disorders and devising appropriate action plans.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create for their unique treatment goals, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions designed to foster coping skills, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention strategies tailored specifically to each client's circumstances.

• Engage with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care, coordinating treatment with healthcare providers and specialists as needed.
\n
• Implement regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement in their recovery journey.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on the interconnected nature of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adhering to treatment protocols.

• Maintain meticulous records of treatment plans, progress notes, and referrals, ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through case conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions focused on co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Serene Behavioral Health Group Inc, you will primarily focus on individuals who present with dual diagnoses involving both mental health and substance use disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, including adolescents and adults, many of whom are grappling with addiction alongside anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health conditions. Your role is critical in facilitating their comprehensive recovery and improvement in quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating co-occurring disorders.

• Deep understanding of the complex relationship between mental health issues and substance abuse.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
