In this remote role, you will have the freedom to manage your schedule while ensuring you meet the needs of our patients. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient need.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective support to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community engagement and address common therapeutic topics, such as anxiety management and coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate care is accessible.

• Educate patients on mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them in their healthcare journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation to uphold ethical standards and legal compliance.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health therapist with Sterling Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, particularly to diverse populations.
