Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, effectively identifying co-occurring disorders and their implications for treatment.

• Work collaboratively with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that are both achievable and tailored to their individual needs, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at skill development, including coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

• Engage in regular care coordination with a diverse team, collaborating with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Monitor clients' substance use through regular assessments and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement and inspire a commitment to recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about the impact of co-occurring disorders, promoting understanding and alignment on treatment objectives.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and client interactions in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and staff meetings to remain at the forefront of co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proven experience employing evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, demonstrating a solid grasp of treatment methodologies.

• Strong understanding of the interaction between mental health and substance use disorders and an ability to address their interplay effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
