As a remote-based role, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will engage with clients and fellow team members through a robust telehealth system, enabling flexibility and efficiency in delivering care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments and detailed screenings to accurately evaluate clients' mental health concerns, determining effective intervention strategies and personalized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are client-centered, incorporating specific goals and strategies tailored to address each client’s unique challenges.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, as well as virtual group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to integrated client care.

• Educate and engage clients' families in the therapeutic process, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and promoting family involvement in recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant client records in accordance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Counselor will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is strongly preferred.

• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida is required.

• The salary range for this position is competitive, between $80,000 and $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
