As part of our group practice, you will have the option to conduct sessions remotely, through secure telehealth platforms, or in-person at our clinic, depending on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients through individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing both in-person and audibly secure digital platforms to ensure privacy and accessibility.

• Develop customized treatment plans that employ evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy.

• Efficiently manage your caseload and maintain thorough clinical documentation, aided by our professional administrative staff who assist with billing, scheduling, and credentialing.

• Participate in regular clinical consultation groups and peer support circles to enhance professional development and ensure the highest quality of care.
\n
• Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to create an integrated support system for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will work with a diverse clientele in the Bakersfield area. This includes individuals seeking mental health support, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families striving for harmony and communication. You will play a pivotal role in addressing complex emotional and relational issues, helping clients embark on their journey toward healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Active and current LMFT license in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in an outpatient or community mental health setting.

• Demonstrated compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to delivering client-focused care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Formal training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, somatic therapy, Gottman methodology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), or trauma-focused care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Mindzen Psychiatry offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000.00 to $100,000.00, commensurate with experience and caseload.
