Inside Sales Representative

Company and Role Summary:
Harvest Food Group is a diversified frozen food company with our headquarters based in Naperville, IL, specializing in frozen food manufacturing and the distribution of frozen vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, and herbs. As our Ingredients business continues to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated, growth-orientated Sales Representative to aggressively build our customer base by finding and creating new commercial opportunities. This role is ideal for someone energized by prospecting and developing relationships from the ground up within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, and email campaigns.
- Research target accounts and prepare for prospect meetings by gathering company, market, and competitive intelligence.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM, including leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience within the food ingredients, food manufacturing, or related industries.
- Experience selling frozen food ingredients into industrial or food manufacturing markets strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
