Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized, culturally responsive psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children, adapting techniques based on client needs.

• Manage and maintain a balanced caseload, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner within our EHR system.

• Develop and implement collaborative treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Engage in regular team meetings and clinical training sessions to enhance clinical skills and share insights with peers.

• Contribute creatively to the evolution of mental health programs and services within Mindzen Psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a broad and diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflict. Your role will be pivotal in providing support to families and underserved communities, ensuring they receive the compassionate care they deserve. You will tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each client, considering cultural and systemic factors that may influence their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active LPCC license in the state of California is required.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited program is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Expertise in DSM-5 diagnostics and a solid understanding of ethical standards and clinical documentation practices.

• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of self-management, while also being a collaborative team player.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with marginalized communities, particularly those from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds.

• Specialized training in modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, substance use disorder treatment, or crisis intervention is highly valued.

• Competitive salary ranging between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, with performance-based incentives.
