Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will engage with clients through both individual and couples therapy, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each family dynamic. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the mental health needs and goals of individuals and families.

• Facilitating therapy sessions focused on issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, communication difficulties, and family conflicts.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to encourage emotional healing and relational improvements.

• Maintaining detailed progress notes and treatment plans, adapting these as necessary to reflect client evolution.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and enhance service delivery.
\n
• Engaging in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including adults and children/adolescents facing a variety of challenges such as:

• Substance abuse and recovery.
\n
• Trauma and psychological abuse.
\n
• Adjustments to significant life changes such as divorce, blended families, and separation.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts among family members, including siblings and parent-child dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Proven experience or internships in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
