Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their emotional and mental health needs. Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect client objectives, with a focus on measurable outcomes. Deliver engaging individual therapy sessions, addressing various psychological issues across all age groups. Facilitate couples therapy aimed at improving communication skills and resolving conflicts. Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans as clients progress, ensuring a dynamic and responsive therapeutic approach. Maintain meticulous records, including progress notes and treatment histories, while adhering to HIPAA standards. Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, connecting clients with additional resources as necessary. Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and emotional stabilization. Stay informed of the latest research and therapeutic techniques in marriage and family therapy. Engage in ongoing professional development, including training sessions and peer consultations, to continue enhancing your therapeutic skills. Advocate for client needs, ensuring their voices are heard throughout the therapeutic process. Utilize secure teletherapy platforms, ensuring client confidentiality and a comfortable virtual environment. Represent Family Health and Counseling Services positively in all professional interactions. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. You will have the opportunity to work with clients facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, and trauma. Your role will significantly contribute to enhancing clients’ quality of life by supporting their mental health journeys and empowering them to achieve their personal therapy goals. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related mental health field. Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is essential. Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to individuals and/or couples, with a preference for those familiar with diverse client needs. Strong assessment skills, with the ability to complete treatment plans and progress notes in a timely manner. Excellent communication and writing abilities, coupled with proficiency in electronic health record systems. Preferred Experience Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a counseling capacity is highly desirable. Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, or solution-focused therapy. Background in crisis intervention and management, equipping you to respond effectively to clients in urgent need. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $105,000 annually.
