Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, identifying the emotional and psychological needs of students, and considering any co-occurring medical conditions.

• Design and implement individualized, integrative treatment plans that address both mental health and physical health concerns.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to each student’s circumstances.

• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for students.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate care to stabilize the situation.

• Educate students and their families about the connections between mental health and physical well-being, empowering them with tools for effective self-management.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical guidelines, using electronic health record systems for documentation.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences to contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents who may experience a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders, often exacerbated by co-occurring medical conditions such as chronic pain or learning disabilities. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
