Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand client needs, followed by developing tailored treatment plans based on individual diagnoses.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions to adolescents and adults, and couples/family therapy if you possess the requisite training, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or EMDR.

• Maintain meticulous, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and insurance guidelines, ensuring timely updates and adherence to ethical standards.

• Engage in peer consultation and participate in team development activities that enhance the overall quality of care provided to clients.
\n
• Promote cultural humility and uphold the highest clinical best practices within your therapeutic work.

• Use electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms to improve accessibility and efficiency in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as an LPCC at The Still Point, you will have the privilege of working with a diverse population. Clients will include individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and significant life transitions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing their quality of life and emotional well-being through personalized mental health support.

Qualifications\n

• Current California licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in good standing.

• Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and eligibility to practice independently.

• Completion of at least six semester units (or equivalent) in supervised clinical experience with couples and families if you intend to provide such services.

• A strong commitment to social justice, with demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.

• Proficiency in at least one evidence-based therapeutic modality, such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed therapy approaches.

• Comfort and proficiency in using technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, providing therapy in outpatient settings.

• Demonstrated capability to work autonomously while actively engaging in collaborative team environments.

• Experience or training in specialties related to trauma-informed care or specific populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as access to a retirement savings plan. You will also benefit from a flexible caseload, offering the opportunity to manage between 10 to 30 client sessions per week, depending on your availability and preferences.
