Work Environment\n

As a remote mental health therapist, you will engage with clients via teletherapy, utilizing secure digital platforms to ensure confidentiality and ease of access. Our organization provides all necessary tools and resources to facilitate seamless virtual sessions, allowing you to create a therapeutic space that fosters connection and understanding. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, engaging with clients from the comfort of your own home while being part of a supportive team culture that values communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking to cultivate self-awareness, manage stress, and enhance their emotional well-being.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' individual needs, life stressors, and personal goals, crafting tailored mindfulness strategies that align with their therapeutic journey.

• Guide clients through a variety of mindfulness exercises, including guided meditations and breathing techniques, to promote emotional regulation and inner peace.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and stress management techniques, encouraging community and shared learning.

• Integrate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, and providing tools for everyday challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to create a comprehensive and cohesive treatment plan for each client, ensuring holistic support.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on their feedback and evolving needs.

• Participate in continuous professional development, including personal mindfulness practice and attending relevant training sessions to deepen your understanding of mindfulness approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in Maryland.

• A strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and a commitment to integrating mindfulness into your practice.

• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating empathy and the ability to foster a comforting environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training or certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions, particularly those focused on mindfulness or coping strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
