Work Environment

Located in the heart of White Plains, our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center is designed to provide a comfortable and focused healing environment. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance conducive to maintaining your own wellness.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Hemisphere Motion Physical Therapy Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to diagnose their specific rehabilitation needs and recovery goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, incorporating a variety of therapy methods such as hands-on techniques, resistance exercises, and stretching exercises to foster patient mobility and pain relief.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities, and monitor patient progress to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and assist patients, caregivers, and families on effective therapy techniques and the proper use of any necessary assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments, responses to therapy, and progress notes in compliance with professional and legal standards.
• Engage in regular professional development through workshops, training, and continuous education to stay updated with the latest therapy advancements and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapy License in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits
