Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while being an integral part of our community health clinic. As a member of our clinical team, you will engage in virtual supervision sessions and collaboration with site supervisors and other health professionals. Effective communication across all levels of the organization is essential, as is the ability to maintain relationships with external organizations for comprehensive client support.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting supervision sessions with the support of site supervisors to ensure high-quality care.
\n
• Participating in essential staff meetings and clinical discussions to share insights and best practices.
\n
• Identifying and utilizing agency resources and systems for the benefit of client treatment.
\n
• Completing organizational orientation and familiarizing yourself with clinic policies and procedures.
\n
• Preparing thoroughly for client sessions by reviewing case notes and engaging in research related to client issues.
\n
• Facilitating small group supervision or seminar preparation, including the review of recorded sessions.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, both written and electronic.
\n
• Coordinating visits and services with partner agencies to optimize client support.
\n
• Researching best practices and contributing to special projects as directed by your supervisor.
\n
• Conducting client consultations and collaborating with other professionals to enhance treatment efficacy.
\n
• Writing detailed case notes, client assessments, and evaluations that guide clinical decisions.
\n
• Contributing to clients' Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) to promote their recovery and well-being.
\n
• Supporting treating therapists in scoring, interpreting, and reporting psychometric assessments to inform treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients reflecting the community's demographics, absorbing their unique mental health challenges. Our patient population includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health concerns, many of whom require culturally competent and responsive care. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be instrumental in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field and must possess the appropriate social work licenses (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with Washington State regulations. Additional qualifications include:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration with clients and team members.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party background check.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in community mental health settings, as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, will be given preference. Your ability to navigate these platforms will enhance your efficiency in maintaining client information and records.
