Description

• Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and create personalized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercises
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress meticulously as per facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to assure synchronized care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, yet not required

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
