Indianapolis, IN | Hybrid | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity | $21-$23/Hour

Are you highly detail-oriented and enjoy working with data, systems, and processes? Our client is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join their team in Indianapolis. This is an urgent hiring need and an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a structured environment, enjoy solving problems, and can maintain accuracy while handling high-volume, repetitive tasks.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Work Arrangement: Onsite training, then hybrid schedule of 3 days remote and 2 days onsite
Pay: $21-$23/hour
Duration: Minimum 6-month contract with potential for extension and permanent hire

What You'll Do

• Enter and upload customer invoice data into electronic payment portals with a high degree of accuracy
• Review invoices and match information against customer purchase orders
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, exceptions, and rejected submissions
• Partner with internal account managers to address invoicing issues
• Monitor customer payment portals and maintain detailed records of invoice activity
• Assist customers with account setup and navigation of invoicing systems
• Support account research and reconciliation activities
• Generate reports and provide administrative support as needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service while managing a high volume of transactions
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in a corporate environment
• Experience in customer service, administrative support, data entry, account support, or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a repetitive, process-driven environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
