Work Environment\n

This position is a remote opportunity, allowing flexibility while maintaining a professional and supportive atmosphere. Although you will primarily work from home, you will be part of a collaborative team that values communication, respect, and work-life balance. Our operational hours are from 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday, with options for either 4x10 or 5x8 shifts to accommodate your schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, couple, and family psychotherapy and counseling, adapting approaches to meet varying client needs.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive interviews with clients to gather detailed social, personal, environmental, and health information.
\n
• Evaluate the emotional and psychological challenges clients face, formulating treatment plans that are both effective and aligned within the scope of practice.
\n
• Design and implement programs and activities tailored to meet clients’ social and emotional needs, promoting overall well-being.
\n
• Facilitate therapy sessions that address cognitive, affective, and behavioral health issues, including crisis intervention and referrals to necessary community resources.
\n
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients, ensuring a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space.
\n
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment provided and make necessary adjustments to enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress per established guidelines.
\n
• Support a manageable caseload while ensuring timely and compliant case documentation.
\n
• Perform additional duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the organization and its mission.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Anxiety Health Network, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse issues, family dynamics, and grief. Your role will involve actively engaging with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring they receive personalized, empathetic care that addresses their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold a valid LCSW license in New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or a related area is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous counseling experience in behavioral and mental health treatment, including issues such as depression, substance abuse, family therapy, and trauma.

• Familiarity with clinical assessment tools and treatment methodologies, along with experience in crisis intervention.

Compensation and Benefits\n
