Tandem Billing
Location: Jackson, NJ — In Office
Pay: $25–$30 per hour
Position: Full-Time

Tandem Billing is an ABA billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) company providing billing and authorization services to ABA therapy providers.

We are hiring an experienced Director of Authorizations to lead our authorization department and manage our growing authorization team.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the authorization team
Oversee the full ABA authorization process
Manage initial and ongoing ABA authorizations
Track authorization expirations, submissions, and approvals
Follow up with insurance companies on pending authorizations
Troubleshoot authorization issues and denials
Train, support, and hold authorization team members accountable
Ensure all authorization deadlines are met
Work closely with billing, clinical, and management teams

Requirements:

ABA authorization experience is a MUST
Strong knowledge of ABA billing and insurance authorizations
Previous director, supervisor, or management experience
Experience managing a team
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
Strong team player
Must be able to work in office in Jackson, NJ

Pay: $25–$30/hour, based on experience.
