The Sea View Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will engage with clients through virtual platforms, conducting assessments, devising treatment plans, and working collaboratively to promote mental wellness in a flexible, remote-working environment. Your expertise will be essential in addressing various mental health challenges, including—but not limited to—anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing mental health evaluations to determine clients' needs, concerns, and treatment goals.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and therapeutic objectives.

• Engage clients in regular sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to foster growth and resilience.

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or support groups, as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using EHR systems.

• Participate in team meetings, contributing insights about patient challenges and collaborative solutions to enhance care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients with varying mental health conditions, including those facing hardships related to anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, and more. You will play a crucial role in promoting mental health awareness and teaching coping strategies to empower patients toward recovery. Your cultural competence will be pivotal in effectively engaging with clients from different backgrounds, ensuring that therapy is respectful and tailored to their individual experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid professional licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a grasp of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain level-headed and effective during emergencies.

• Strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to establish and maintain meaningful client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
