Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Northeast Mental Therapy Clinic, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a caseload of clients, developing strong therapeutic relationships rooted in professionalism and ethical boundaries.

• Conducting regular check-ins with clients to assess their progress, address concerns, and determine appropriate discharge timelines.

• Creating, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans focused on the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates for each client in compliance with organizational standards.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to determine client needs and establish initial treatment plans.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote healing and growth.

• Engaging in individual supervision and peer collaboration to continually improve therapeutic practices and personal growth.

• Working with other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to client care, ensuring all aspects of their treatment are coordinated.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves youth and families dealing with various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.

• Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments, diagnosis, as well as individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
