The position offers a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while still engaging with clients through digital platforms. Our practice prioritizes a healthy work-life balance, with typical working hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth mental health assessments to effectively respond to clients’ emotional and psychological needs.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans focusing on personalized goals, incorporating therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Leading psychoeducational and support groups to promote mental health awareness and enhance community connectedness.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, for comprehensive client care.

• Providing crisis intervention services, ensuring timely and effective responses during mental health emergencies.

• Educating clients on mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and vital community resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintaining stringent adherence to confidentiality and documentation processes in line with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base facing various mental health challenges. Our practice emphasizes a person-centered approach, tailoring interventions to suit individual circumstances. Clients may include those experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and substance use issues. Your ability to foster trust and build rapport will be essential in helping clients achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop impactful treatment plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience particularly in outpatient settings or group therapy dynamics will be favored. Compensation and Benefits\n
