Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments that respect culturally specific values and beliefs to formulate effective and personalized treatment plans.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, tailored to the individual needs of clients, whether through cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, or other approaches.

• Facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at improving mental health outcomes, resilience, and coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure during mental health emergencies.

• Educating clients and their families on mental health issues, potential treatment options, and connecting them with community resources.

• Maintaining precise and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participating actively in team meetings, contributing to case reviews, and attending cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Georgia.

• Strong foundation in understanding mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment strategies, particularly focusing on cultural competence.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy through culturally responsive approaches, adapting strategies to meet the needs of diverse client backgrounds.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, including the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations while providing effective support.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at building relationships and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology for documentation and patient management.

• Commitment to professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to established guidelines.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a culture of shared learning and support.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
