Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract assignment runs from August 7, 2026, through May 28, 2027, supporting students in a moderate to severe classroom. Working exclusively on-site, you’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals, provide a nurturing environment, and positively shape students’ educational journeys.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required
• Experience working with moderate to severe special education populations is highly preferred
• Previous school-based or classroom experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Commitment to fostering a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student learning and growth
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both individual and small group settings
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviors, and achievements
• Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families to ensure comprehensive support for every student
• Uphold compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Provide classroom management tailored to students’ unique needs, emphasizing respect and positivity
