Key Responsibilities\n

• Proactively engage with participants to prevent the escalation of mental health crises and improve overall stability.

• Monitor and maintain crisis alerts to coordinate effectively with county crisis services, ensuring clients receive timely intervention when necessary.

• Facilitate smooth transitions between hospital/inpatient services and outpatient programs, collaborating closely with hospital staff to support safe and effective discharges.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that respond to the specific emotional and psychological needs of clients.

• Utilize telehealth technology to deliver high-quality counseling sessions, comfortably navigating clients through their therapeutic journeys.

• Document all clinical interactions according to clinic policies and state regulations, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Telehealth Professional Counselor will serve a diverse population consisting of individuals experiencing a range of psychiatric, social, and emotional difficulties. This includes, but is not limited to, clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will work with patients from various cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport quickly with clients who present with a wide spectrum of challenges, ensuring they feel heard and understood.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year , commensurate with experience and caseload.
