A well-established air conditioning and electrical company located in Lake Park, Florida, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, comfortable communicating with customers, and able to work closely with management to keep accounts accurate and current.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Code and post daily deposits
• Contact customers regarding past-due accounts
• Maintain an accurate, clean, and up-to-date accounts receivable trial balance
• Research and resolve customer billing disputes
• Investigate unapplied payments, credits, and account discrepancies
• Work with management to address questionable or problem accounts
• Maintain clear documentation of collection efforts and account activity
• Perform other accounts receivable and administrative duties as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

• Previous accounts receivable, , or collections experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
• Comfortable using accounting software, email, and Microsoft Excel
• Able to work independently and follow through on unresolved issues

 

Schedule:

 

Monday through Friday

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Full-time position
