Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
$175 Daily Per Diem + Paid Mileage & Drive Time

Vi-Tel is hiring experienced Low Voltage / Data Technicians for a large rollout project installing structured cabling and Wi-Fi access points in churches throughout the South and Midwest.

This is a traveling position with steady work expected through the remainder of 2026. Technicians will travel from location to location completing smaller installations, typically lasting approximately 3 days per site.

Job Duties

● Install approximately 12–20 low-voltage/data cables per location

● Install and mount approximately 6–12 Wi-Fi access points (APs)

● Terminate and test cabling

● Mount low-voltage equipment

● Perform clean, professional installations

● Travel between project locations throughout the South and Midwest

Compensation & Travel

● $175 per diem, daily

● Paid mileage to project sites

● Paid drive time to project sites

● Monday–Friday day work

● Ongoing rollout expected through the end of the year

Requirements

● Previous low-voltage, structured cabling, telecom, or data installation experience

● Experience terminating data cable

● Experience installing and mounting Wi-Fi access points preferred

● Must have reliable personal transportation

● Must have required hand tools

● Must have required PPE

● Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR

● Must pass a background check

● Must pass a drug test

● Must be dependable and willing to travel
