Bilingual Japanese/English Restaurant Manager (Food) (CA/YM)

A Japanese restaurant is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Restaurant Manager to join their team in Torrance , CA. This position is responsible for managing and upkeeping restaurant operations. An AA degree or higher, 3-5 years of restaurant business management experience in the restaurant/service industry in a Japanese restaurant, ability to work weekends, valid driver’s license, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is required. This is a full-time, exempt, in-person position with excellent benefits, including 401k. [Work Details: 5 working days] ***There is no visa support*** Bilingual Japanese/English Restaurant Manager Duties Communicate with customers, staff, and business partners, and be able to solve problems and suggest improvements Customer service, staff recruitment, media (coverage contact), administrative support (e.g. registration, documents, audits) Perform onsite work such as cashiering, serving, and/or barista work Read and create simple P/L Customer service, staff management, store management, and overall sales operations Write daily budget reports on both revenue and costs Create and coordinate schedules for staff Shift management, creating an environment where staff can work quickly and sustainably Vendor management, new discovery, ordering and delivery management, etc. Post management and reviews on Google, Yelp, Instagram, etc. Leading various MTG promotions such as performance confirmation and on-site decisions Maintain weekly and monthly payroll for staff Manage food costs and inventory Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas Bilingual Japanese/English Restaurant Manager Skills Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese Must have 3-5 years of restaurant business management experience in the restaurant/service industry in a Japanese restaurant Must have an AA degree or higher Must have a valid driver’s license Demonstrated knowledge of restaurant managing techniques and practices Familiarity with sanitation regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions
