Life Works Psychiatric Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to provide high-quality mental healthcare in a full-time, remote setting. Our therapists play a critical role in assessing, treating, and supporting individuals who are navigating a range of mental health challenges, contributing to positive patient outcomes in an outpatient community health clinic format.

Work Environment\nThis role is designed for remote work, allowing therapists the flexibility to provide care from their own home while maintaining a strong connection with the clinical team. Operating between Monday and Friday, therapists may engage in a structured schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to meet the requirements of patient care. This arrangement fosters a balanced work-life environment while ensuring our clients receive timely support.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances. \n
- Utilize proven therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based practices to deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions. \n
- Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that address a variety of mental health issues, helping clients engage, connect, and feel understood within a community setting. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and psychologists within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, combining various therapeutic approaches to enhance recovery and resilience. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance during critical moments. \n
- Educate patients on mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and community resources available to support their ongoing recovery. \n
- Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and ethical handling of patient information. \n
- Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to remain adept in the latest advancements in mental health therapies. \n
Our therapists work with a diverse demographic, including individuals dealing with conditions ranging from depression and anxiety to bipolar disorder and substance abuse. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas. \n
- Strong understanding of various mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and therapeutic interventions. \n
- Proven experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and devising effective, individualized treatment strategies. \n
- Demonstrated ability to deliver individual and group therapy sessions to a diverse clientele, adjusting approaches to accommodate varied backgrounds and experiences. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with team members. \n
- Commitment to ethical practice, sound judgment, and maintaining professional boundaries at all times. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for documentation and communication purposes. \n
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling position is preferred, with a background in community mental health settings being especially advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits\nLife Works Psychiatric Center values its employees and offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
