Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences, practice interpersonal skills, and support one another in their healing journeys.

• Provide Individual Counseling: Deliver empathetic one-on-one counseling sessions aimed at helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings, identify challenges, and develop actionable coping strategies.

• Create Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to establish personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.

• Monitor Progress: Utilize assessment tools and client feedback to track progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be young adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. You will play a vital role in nurturing their resilience and guiding them towards recovery through innovative therapeutic techniques and strong, empathetic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Licensure: Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential is essential.

• Experience: Prior experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients dealing with mood disorders, in either outpatient or residential settings is preferred.

• Team Collaboration: You should possess a collaborative mindset and be passionate about helping others succeed.

• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is essential. Strong documentation skills are also required for proper case management.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a telehealth setting is a plus, as well as familiarity with electronic health record systems. Experience in group therapy facilitation is highly desirable.
