This remote role will focus on delivering high-quality counseling and support to clients in a detox center setting, with a competitive salary range of USD 85,000–104,000 annually, along with the opportunity to receive a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices tailored to the detox population.

• Conduct thorough client interviews to gather comprehensive social, personal, and health histories in order to develop personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Assess and evaluate client problems within the scope of practice, offering crisis intervention and long-term therapeutic solutions.
\n
• Coordinate and implement programs that address clients' psychological and emotional needs, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health interventions, including short-term crisis resolutions and appropriate referrals to community resources.
\n
• Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships grounded in mutual respect and trust with clients.
\n
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary, and document all findings and progress according to established protocols.
\n
• Maintain an active caseload while ensuring accurate and up-to-date case documentation reflective of provided services.
\n
• Provide individual clinical counseling that addresses a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, mood disorders, and substance abuse issues.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support overall program goals and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily supports clients undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders including alcohol and drugs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the complexities associated with addiction and mental health co-morbidities, as well as cultural competency in engaging diverse populations.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
\n
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, preferably within a clinical or detox setting.

• Experience in treating behavioral health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, relationship challenges, grief, and loss.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with addiction treatment or detox populations is highly advantageous.

• Skills in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or other recognized therapeutic modalities are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The offered salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 85,000 to 104,000 annually.
