Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and promoting functional independence in patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's physical capabilities through diagnostic tests and functional assessments, ensuring all treatment aligns with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Oversee the work of support staff, including physical therapy assistants, to ensure high-quality care is consistently delivered and that treatment plans are followed accurately.
• Provide direct hands-on treatment including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, traction, and other modalities as prescribed by the physician.
• Evaluate the home environment for patients requiring rehabilitation and recommend adaptations to foster independence.
• Document all clinical interactions meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively develop treatment plans that address the holistic needs of each patient.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and the use of assistive devices, fostering a supportive rehabilitation atmosphere.
• Continuously monitor and report any changes in a patient's condition, making necessary adjustments to the care plan in consultation with the supervising physician.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse patient population including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals with chronic pain. As a physical therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the functional mobility and quality of life for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients, families, and team members.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting, including acute care or home care environments.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
