Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite and involves working directly within patients' homes. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will navigate various residential environments, adapting your treatment techniques to fit diverse living situations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify impairments, functional limitations, and changes in health status resulting from various conditions, including injuries and chronic diseases.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, physician directives, and evidence-based practices, including setting actionable goals and therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Document all patient encounters meticulously, including evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries, ensuring that all records reflect the necessity of skilled intervention and compliance with professional standards.

• Utilize advanced technologies and therapies, assessing their effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary to maximize patient outcomes.

• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) and support staff in providing high-quality patient care while monitoring their professional development and adherence to treatment protocols.

• Engage in interprofessional collaboration, sharing insights and strategies during team meetings to enhance coordinated care and streamline treatment workflows.

• Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives that support your expertise as well as inform best practices within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with neuro musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve creating supportive and therapeutic environments that empower patients through effective rehabilitation programs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
