Experience working with C‑level executives and cross‑functionally across multiple levels of management. Experience managing agreements or partnerships. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing government agency partnerships and public‑private initiatives. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and structure contracts, interpret legal documents, and work with legal to sign and close agreements. Agility in changing environments where thoughtfulness, action‑oriented mindset, persistent execution, and relationships drive success. Success managing complex partners to drive growth and partnership success. Ability to proactively uncover new strategies or alternatives and influence product and engineering counterparts. Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate partner value, ecosystem knowledge and other strategies. About the Job Google Wallet's goal is to create a secure and helpful digital wallet for users, becoming a differentiated and essential part of daily life, both online and offline, and across surfaces. The team is responsible for product and growth partnerships that enable Wallet's many use cases, spanning transit, loyalty, health, events, digital identity, and more, for Google users globally. As the Strategic Partner Development Manager for Digital Identity, you will lead our U.S. business development and go‑to‑market efforts for Google Wallet’s identity solutions with issuing partners, ensuring every Google user has access to digital IDs and the ability to securely store them in Google Wallet. You will focus on ecosystem building, accelerating growth through initiatives with partners, new market launches, and bringing solutions to the market. Lead end‑to‑end partnerships across both the public and private sectors, including with government agencies on mobile driver’s licenses (mDLs) and with enterprise partners. Collaborate cross‑functionally and with other Google teams to define and execute our U.S. strategy and identify appropriate partnerships and solutions. You will have experience with early‑stage products and partnerships, the flexibility to try solutions, adapt, and quickly course‑correct, working across multiple product areas, fluency with contract negotiations, and representing Google with C‑level executives across partner organizations. Responsibilities Lead business development and go‑to‑market efforts that help scale the Google Wallet product and ecosystem. Source, discuss, and maintain partnerships to meet Wallet and Payments product goals, managing everything from initial prospecting, incubating new partnership programs, managing existing relationships, and long‑term relationship growth. Develop and execute on go‑to‑market strategies with ambitious goals to establish emerging products and first‑of‑kind partnerships, including prospecting for new opportunities, conducting partner/industry research, and collaborating on product strategy. Drive successful agreement integration by pitching to partners, finalizing agreements, executing account plans, and advocating for partner needs to resolve complex issues. Collaborate effectively with teams across the organization (Product, Engineering, Legal, and other cross‑functional teams) and across regions to align resources and direction for go‑to‑market strategy or partner initiatives.
