Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and success in an educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to enrich their professional experience while working directly with school-aged children and collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
You’ll spend your days working onsite with elementary and middle school students, performing a mix of direct therapy, supporting ongoing caseloads, and conducting overflow evaluations. The assignment runs from as soon as possible through May 20th, 2027, following a Tuesday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, for a total of 36 hours each week.
What You’ll Need:
- Active and current Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure
- School-based OT experience, with knowledge of elementary, middle, and high school support
- Strong evaluation and assessment skills, particularly in educational environments
- Commitment to onsite work—virtual or remote options are not available
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with staff and families
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload in elementary and middle schools
- Conduct thorough overflow assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Work collaboratively with general and special education staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district guidelines
