Work Environment

This role is executed onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility where our commitment to quality care is evident in every aspect of our practice. Your typical workweek will follow a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Conway Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Center, you will:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients referred by physicians, establishing a clear understanding of their needs and conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment programs based on clinical evidence and patient goals, applying effective techniques for rehabilitation and recovery.
• Administer therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and other modalities to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring alignment with prescriptive care plans.
• Offer education and training to patients and caregivers, empowering them with the tools and knowledge to manage their health effectively during and after therapy.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, addressing various needs across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties. Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, demonstrating expertise in delivering therapeutic interventions.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications relevant to patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a rehabilitation facility, particularly in handling a varied caseload with a focus on evidence-based practice. Experience building community relationships and engaging in local health initiatives will be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
