Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Sanford, Florida. You will work a standard 40-hour week with occasional variable weekend shifts. The facility is equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and technology, providing an ideal setting for innovative therapy practices. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients to evaluate functional limitations and disabilities, developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services, implementing treatment interventions and regularly re-evaluating progress to adjust the plan as necessary.
• Engage with patients, educating them and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and home exercises to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary treatment team including physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
• Lead community outreach initiatives, contributing to program development and marketing efforts to expand our services within the region.
• Supervise and mentor supporting staff, including Physical Therapy Aides and Students, while managing departmental resources effectively.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Flex Staff Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse population of patients, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to individuals with chronic pain and neurological conditions. Our approach is patient-centered, focusing on individualized treatment plans that empower patients to take an active role in their recovery journey. You will utilize evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory for practicing in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other relevant software for documentation and billing purposes.

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic strategies, manual therapy techniques, and orthopedic conditions is highly desirable. Experience in patient education and community outreach programs will also be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Flex Staff Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 based on qualifications and experience.
