Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year A bit about us: Job Title: Senior Property Accountant Location: Encinitas, CA (100% On-site) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting functions for a commercial property portfolio. This role requires a self-motivated individual who takes full ownership of the accounting process and thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment. Why join us? Full-time position health dental vision PTO Job Details Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage A/R, A/P, GL, and month-end close processes. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and budget variance reporting. Budgeting & CAM: Assist in annual budget preparation and manage CAM estimates and annual/interim reconciliations. Lease Administration: Review and input lease/amendment data; manage tenant ledger adjustments and monthly rent charges. Compliance & Transactions: Support acquisition and disposition accounting; ensure timely submission of quarterly debt compliance packages. Operational Support: Perform bank reconciliations, review ledger activity, and address vendor/tenant inquiries. Team Collaboration: Mentor property accountants and coordinate with property managers on tenant and vendor communications. Entity Management: Oversee accounting setup and structure for new entities. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in accounting, preferably within commercial real estate. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Software Systems: Experience with Rent Manager and AvidXchange is highly preferred.
