Position Overview Title: Lecturer Annual Salary Range: $70,977-$199,722. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. We are creating a pool of candidates to teach courses in the Ceramics Area for the 2026‑27 academic year. Members of the pool may be called to teach lower‑division, upper‑division, or graduate courses as needed and dependent upon funding. Applicants must be able to teach form construction (hand‑building and wheel‑throwing) and surface design (glazing and other techniques) and be skilled in the use of throwing wheels, slab rollers, gas and electric kilns, and glazes and raw materials. The ceramic studio is equipped with throwing wheels, slab rollers, gas and electric kilns, glazes, raw materials, a walk‑in spray booth, and ample work space. Internal applicants will be considered for reappointment prior to consideration of external applicants. Qualifications Basic qualification: BA in a related field.
