Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, supporting a flexible work-life balance while harnessing cutting-edge telehealth tools to deliver client care. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, primarily working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client's mood disorder symptoms, taking into account the severity, frequency, and duration of their experiences.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with individual client goals and needs while integrating evidence-based practices.
\n
• Provide therapy using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and self-care techniques to foster better understanding and management of their conditions.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing efficacy.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client care.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders to continually enhance treatment methodologies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of sessions, assessments, and treatment updates in accordance with ethical standards.

• Participate in case discussions and team meetings, contributing insights to optimize client care and collective clinical knowledge.

• Serve as a mental health advocate, working to reduce stigma around mood disorders and promote the importance of mental wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clientele will consist of individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. By offering tailored therapeutic interventions, you will play a crucial role in their journey toward better mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably focused on mood disorders.
\n
• Expert knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and its implications for therapy, keeping a holistic perspective in mind.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using telehealth platforms for therapy delivery is an advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and client follow-up.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
