Key Responsibilities\n

In your capacity as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a variety of clinical responsibilities aimed at fostering positive mental health outcomes:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead therapeutic group sessions where clients can engage with peers, sharing experiences and strategies for coping, thereby building a sense of community and support.

• Individual Counseling: Deliver personalized therapy tailored to each client’s unique experiences, exploring their thoughts and emotions, and helping them develop actionable coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans, setting specific, achievable goals that address their preferences and needs.

• Progress Evaluation: Regularly assess and monitor your clients’ progress through various assessment tools, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and exchange insights that enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve young adults aged 18 to 30 who are seeking assistance with a spectrum of mental health challenges. By employing a mix of evidence-based practices and holistic approaches, you will directly contribute to the recovery and empowerment of individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a related field (counseling, social work, psychology, etc.)
\n
• Current Florida Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
\n
• Strong clinical skills and experience in providing therapeutic services to young adults
\n
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years experience in outpatient mental health counseling
\n
• Experience in group therapy facilitation
\n
• Background working with the young adult population, particularly in an outpatient setting
