Sales Development Representative (PST or CST)

About the role
As an SDR at Trail, you'll be the first voice many of our future customers hear. You'll own outbound outreach, making cold calls and sending emails every day to start conversations and show prospects how Trail can help them.
You'll also represent Trail at conferences and events as a proud brand ambassador, building relationships and bringing our story to life in person.
This is a foundational role in our sales team, and the pipeline you build will directly drive our growth. If that sounds exciting, we'd love to hear from you!
What you will work on:
Work as a part of the outbound team to generate new leads and sales opportunities.
Identify and engage prospective customers via research and outbound efforts.
Perform the initial discovery/qualification calls with prospective customers before passing qualified opportunities to our Account Executives.
Capture business intelligence from prospects directly (by phone or email) or indirectly (via online research) to arm our Sales team for success.
Follow up with Marketing generated leads to qualify as sales opportunities. Move solid leads through the funnel connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging meetings.
Preferred experience:
1+ year in lead generation and/or inside sales experience in a SaaS company
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience with Cold Calling and attending conferences
Experience with Apollo
PST or CST time zones

Additional Information
This is a remote role for candidates that are currently in the United States. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 per year. In addition to base salary, compensation for this role includes performance-based commission.
