Experienced Bookkeeper

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 per year

About the Role

A & Associates is seeking an experienced, detail oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing corporate team in West Palm Beach. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities in a fast paced environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the daily operations of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Record and reconcile all financial transactions
• Prepare and process customer invoices
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections
• Process vendor payments and maintain vendor records
• Assist with payroll preparation and payroll reporting
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month end closing
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Work closely with management to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
• Assist with annual audits and tax preparation as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience with QuickBooks required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with payroll processing preferred
• Excellent understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Experience working in staffing, payroll, or service based industries is a plus
