Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' concerns, establish diagnoses, and formulate individualized treatment plans that are both actionable and measurable.

• Provide effective therapy sessions, conducting individual, group, or family therapy using a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Conduct crisis intervention as needed, managing acute situations with sensitivity and professionalism, while providing immediate support to clients in distress.

• Maintain and document detailed records of client sessions, including treatment progress, updates to treatment plans, and relevant feedback, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health themes, potential treatment pathways, and community resources, empowering them to be active participants in their own care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy, ensuring the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will span a broad range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship issues. Working with varied client demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, you will adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the distinct needs of each client, fostering a supportive environment of healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Mental Health Therapist in Texas (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience providing mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• At Wise Mind Psychotherapy Services, we offer a competitive salary range between $85,000 and $100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
