Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in MedSurg/Tele to provide care in a supportive and dynamic medical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in general medicine and a passion for patient mobilization and comprehensive care. This is an excellent opportunity for first-time travelers looking to enhance their skills in a high-acuity setting.

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in MedSurg
• Accepting First-Time Travelers: Yes
• Patient Ratios: RN 5-6:1, CNA 8:1
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1890 (negotiable)
• Charting System: Epic
• Shift Details: 3x12 Days
• Orientation: 2 days departmental
• Floating to: 8 Reynolds, 8 North, 9 North A/B, 9 Ardmore, 10 Ardmore, 8 North-B, 8 Ardmore
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free employee parking

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Manage IV lines and conduct timely assessments
• Interpret telemetry strips

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS Certification
• Strong IV skills and telemetry interpretation
• Experience in MedSurg (2 years minimum)
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
